Monday

Setting up contractors. Christie Ossington Center does this with all their properties. They want the money, like catering, which they took over with the illegal and unsafe kitchen here.

They've done their own security. This is illegal now that the ministry put into words the industry basic standard; if your performing security functions you need a license even for your company.

So, the problem here is that we saw Christie Ossington staff performing all safety and security during a fire...which we all saw, including the fire department.

We're obligated to report this unlicensed security to the province as passing would mean an unsafe site.

Christie Ossington Center staff need to get their security licenses or let licensed third party security perform the security functions.

If no one reports it they're liable. It doesn't matter who owns the building or who is providing services.

It's unsafe, but easily remedied, which no one is willing to report making them liable. City, security company, etc.

Point is the building operator and Christie Ossington Centre will just claim no liability and blame contractors...
