A security company has a waiver about audio recording persons. In some jurisdictions it isn't legal and you van be sues. Not sure if the system here is Lorex and the front desk guy queried or Woodgreen got sued, but it is very illegal and stable for someone to use the cameras here off site, on personal phones off site, personal phones and company internet, etc.
There appears to be an app as many woodgreens walk around staring at the security camera app on their personal phones looking in advance of where they're going.
Abusers have millions of excuses. You have to take away the keys, security equipment, etc and put it in a safe third party hands that is licensed to practice security; not to mention bonded, insured, etc.
If you need the keys or cameras sign them out at security. Write why. Sign.
