Now they have a portable molecule reader to look for things like drugs, bombs, etc. For example, you could swipe the door and put it in the reader to find what's been around it.
That's about two years old, that we know. The full size units became popular in airports in the 90s. They were programmed for bombs, not drugs.
Now, except for narco corruption, they have portable MRIs that could read a body smugglers in seconds, but narco corruption has them banned, globally.
